Detoxification is essential for the body to function at its optimum because our body does have to deal with pollution and other disturbances that occurs in our external environment everyday. And it is not only from our external environment where our body can get its toxicity; rather, pollution can occur even from the inside. Our bodies get most of external toxicity from inhalation, which includes smoking, inhaling dangerous gas substances and air pollution. External pollution can also come in the form of ingestion and radiation. Meanwhile, absorption is another form of external pollution, this occurs when chemicals from fabrics, plastics, pesticides and paint among others enter our bodies with or without our knowledge. Our bodies can also be contaminated by external pollution that comes from irradiation. These are the types of pollution that comes from equipments such as x-rays, power plants, cell phones, bomb testing, computers and even television.
On the other hand, our bodies usually get most of its internal toxicity from different factors such as fermentation, rancidity and even dehydration. Internal toxicity can also come from harmful thoughts that we feel and damaging emotions that we feel. Internal toxicity can wreak havoc on our immune, digestive and nervous systems so it is essential that we undergo thorough and regular detoxification. It is also believed that our bodies can no longer cope up with the changes that our environment has undergone in recent years. For example, the food we eat right now contains a lot more chemicals and preservatives than it has before. Likewise, the medicines and laxative we commonly take to relieve us from pain also has adverse effects for our bodies.
You should remember that one of the symptoms of toxicity that comes from acquiring too much chemicals in the body is damage to the immune system. The damage to our ability to protect ourselves through our immune system is very dangerous since we cannot fight other diseases that may come in the future. Another effect of toxicity is damage to the nervous system; this will hinder our bodies from having the right motor skills and senses. Your exposure to radiation from the computer and the cell phone should also be limited because these may cause harmful effects that are still unknown today.
People who wish to live a healthier lifestyle to avoid the ill effects of all these problems that arise from toxicity in the future need to have a lifestyle change. However, it is also important to remember that doing this is not as easy as it sounds. People should remember that it often gets worse before it gets better so they need to be continually motivated in order to achieve their goals. Detoxification is one of the ways to have a healthier body because this treatment rids the body from both harmful physical and chemicals materials that had accumulated in the body for years. While detoxifying, you should also keep in mind the normal cycle of the body, which includes energy production, storage and discharging the waste materials so you do not interrupt this cycle unnecessarily.
